The Markwort Speed Sensor MPH Baseball allows you to measure your pitching and throwing speeds, enabling you to compare your performance to major league players and practice your way to the big leagues. Equipped with a built-in speed sensor, the ball records the velocity of your throws the moment it leaves your hand, displaying the speed in MPH on the LCD window upon impact.
This training aid features GripSense Technology, which automatically begins recording the speed as soon as the ball is released, without requiring you to hold down any buttons beforehand. The regulation-size, 9-inch, 5-oz baseball provides an authentic feel, while the changeable pitching distance settings (20', 30', 40', 46', 50', 60.5', 70', and 80') allow you to customize your training experience.
To use the Speed Sensor Baseball, simply press and hold the START button to toggle through the pre-programmed pitching distances, releasing it when your desired distance is displayed. Then, press the START button again to activate the Grip Sensors, giving you 1 minute to grip the ball and throw. The LCD window will show a dashed line symbol to indicate the ball is ready for your throw.
Upon release, the built-in speed sensor will record your pitch velocity, which will be displayed on the LCD window. This technology allows you to track your progress and strive to improve your MPH, whether you're training in youth leagues, high school, or college.
The Speed Sensor Baseball is designed for pitching and throwing practice only and should not be hit with a bat or thrown against hard surfaces, as this could damage the electronic components.
